Maximus is doing very well after his visit with Dr Aberwald. Dr A is the BEST......we get in the car and drive 45 minutes from Palm Beach to Simmons each time Maximus needs her, because she is WORTH IT. Because she is the BEST doctor for Maximus. Sincerely Kerry Kuhlman

Dear Dr. Simmons -----I stopped by and met your employee "Lisa" who was so sweet and explained doggy day care to me in detail. I then left Flippa there for some playtime. I also was shown my dear Bambi's memorial by that beautiful angelstatue in your park - I was very touched and honored to see her there. It has been a year since she passed. You have done such a wonderful job creating the most magnificent resort for our sweet pets. A safe, clean, fun place that one can feel comfortable leaving their pets in your care. I believe I have recommended your clinic to about half of Atlantis ----. I look forward to many more years of my relationship with Simmons Veterinary Clinic and it's skilled doctors and wonderful staff.

Dr Raymond is one of the best I have had the pleasure of dealing with. She is very helpful and very caring. Even though Buster is a very difficult cat to deal with outside of his home, everyone seems to take more time to make sure he is ok. Even the girls at the desk are always very helpful and even carry him to the car because he is pretty heavy. I appreciate everthing that everyone does and want to thank everyone for all the help and advice.

Simmons Veterinary Hospital is an amazing vet! We first brought our Rottwelier puppy Bowser to Simmons a few days after we adopted him because he had developed kennel cough. Dr Questa is an amazing vet who helped assure us that Bowser was going to be okay, and without her I swear I would have gone insane with worry. We have brought bowser back a few times since then for booster shots and check ups. Bowser loves Simmons Veterinary Hospital!

Losing ones best friend is harder than that of a family member.Dr. Aberwald and all of her associates made the transition from life to death easier.Sasha couldn't tell us what she wanted us to do but her eyes and her wiggle said it all. We had our private time together and said our final goodbyes. We know that some day we will meet again and share a few naps together on the couch in the heaven above. After a week of sleepless nights Maggie Sherman a nine week old English Bulldog came into our lives. I felt that I would be perceived as not being faithful to Sasha. Once again on my first visit to the Simmons Veterinary Clinic Dr. Aberwald assured me that Dr. Simmons believed that early replacement was his advice to those who experienced the loss of a friend and loyal companion.. While Maggie has medical issues the highly professional care of Dr. Aberwald and her staff assures me that maggie is in good hands at Simmons. I have lived in Florida for 20 years ,and used other Vets. None of the others really cared and did not have the sensitivity shown to me and my best friends.I would always recommend the Simmons Veteriinary Hospital and all of its facilities for the care and nurturing of man's most loyal friend. Finally they deserve the best now and always.May the staff at Simmons continue to do good things for those wonderful creations of G-d.

We love Simmons Vet! Back in July we had to have my beloved 13 year old Akita, Cyrus, put to rest after a few days of him struggling to live when it was clearly his time to go. Although this was apparent, it was still very difficult and devastating for me since he had been with me since he was 10 weeks old and was an absolutely amazing friend. I had wished that he could have died with me at home, but Dr Raymond assured us that what we were doing was the most compassionate thing that could be done, and the whole experience was made better by her and the staff who took the most excellent care of my beloved boy in his final moments. They even carefully prepared him in his box for burial at my home, which is certainly no easy task when handling a 90lb dog, but they did a great job. They made me a beautiful imprint of his paw and included his name in their pet memorial in their dog park. Just a few days ago my new little guy came into my life, Gideon, another Akita puppy. I decided that there was no way that I would take him anywhere else but Simmons, and I requested Dr Raymond again. She is fabulous, and he had his puppy check up and all of his shots and other preventative care done today. I could not have been happier with my experience! She also remembered Cyrus, which I loved. She made sure to check Gideon over very carefully and made sure to cover everything clearly with me. The entire staff is wonderful, they treat every animal in there like they are their friend and best of all, the staff are REAL PEOPLE. They aren't just impersonal medical workers. They really show how much they care about and genuinely like what they do, and that makes a world of difference. The little things that they do for their clients, like the paw print memorial from Cyrus and the Christmas photo of Gideon, show that. They even took all of us into the back so that we could see Cyrus's name in the memorial at the Dog Park. I would recommend Simmons Vet to anyone looking for a Vet in Palm Beach County - they are simply the best!

Thank you so much Simmons for being so amazing. Bubba and Moose are definitly an energetic bunch; that is why we love sending them to day care and to the Barkers Hotel when we go away. All of the ladies and guys are excellent with them and our dogs love playing with them in return. There is no comparison to your facility and personnel in Palm Beach. We love you guys and thank you for making our energetic, overzealous, crazy puppies, mellow from all of the running around! Have a very Merry Christmas from Brian, Maryelise, Bubba, and Moose.

My mini schnauzer ,Gus, returned yesterday from his vacation at your hotel. He is just waking up after the wonderful time that he spent with you! Whenever he goes for daily visits, he comes home too tired to eat or play. He so loves going to your hotel. He was sick about 1 week prior to his vacation and Dr Abelwald took such good care of him! We have already recommended your day care and vet services to others and will continue to do so. Gus sends a big wet kiss! Laurie Petscher

The facility is very clean and beautiful. The picture of Tiggy is precious! We can't thank you enough for the excellent care our kitty received this evening. Just wanted to say thank you again to Dr. Ken Simmons and his staff. My beagle, Cash has been going to this facility for over ten years and has been saved from death at least four times by Dr. Simmons & staff. Most recently, this week Cash developed kidney failure and other issues that had him once again at death's door, but Dr. Simmon's despite being sick himself, would not give up on Cash, and it appears Cash has come back again. We know his time is limited as he is 13 trs old, but any additional time with him is a blessing. We thank Dr. Simmons and his staff for their care of Cash the beagle and his sister Bailey the beagle thanks you too! With Gratitude, Brent & Liz key

Dr Simmons and staff have been meeting my pet needs for almost 20 years. I cannot compliment Dr. Simmons or Dr. Aberwald adequately. I had very large breed dogs in the past and little guys currently and they do a wonderful job with all. I have referred numerous friends to this facility and everyone has been greatful for the referral. The boarding is exceptional! I would never consider changing to another vet for my "babies".

My name is Bijou, I'm a Standard Poodle and I just want to know? Have you shopped around for a doggie / kitty hotel? Well, mom and I travel all over the country and we stop in from time to time just take a look around. SERIOUSLY, We haven't found anything that compares to the Barkers Hotel. I couldn't believe the ones that don't have ANY land (grass)... I'd be expected to go on the floor. Oh,that's what the drain's for and once I see another dog do it I'd do it...I don't think so. "Outdoor" time is in glass enclosed room where the attendant is wearing earplugs. Think about it, Dr. Simmons says my hearing is 400 times better than yours, and I'll tell you,I couldn't wait to get out of there. I think Barkers Hotel looks just like Disney World & I love the 3 acres of grass I get to run and play on. Don't forget, I'm a little modest...If you haven't checked it out, you should. I don't get to go with mom all the time, but it makes it okay as long as I stay at the Barkers Hotel & she checks on me every day. Mom's done her homework. She'll save you some time. She's packing so I gotta go. Love, Bijou and Ty

We've only had Mila a few months before her stay at the Barkers Hotel...From my initial phone call, the tour, speaking with the groomer, the doctor and picking her up everyone was WONDERFUL! We can't say enough about the peace of mine we had knowing Mila was being well taken care of while we were away...Last week, we brought Mila to the Veterinary Hospital for a check up...We were greeted promptly, did not have to wait, everyone was very helpful and friendly and the picture we received upon leaving was just the icing on the cake! We would definitely recommend Simmons to everyone!

I have been an off and on customer with your facility for over 20 years. Although I feel all the doctors were competent, some showed a lack of caring. DR LEAH MARTIN has changed that. She not only takes the time to explain why some procedures are necessary for good long term health care of my pet, but also shows lots of heart and helps me prioritize which test should be done first. Like a lot of other people, I fell into a financial crisis after my divorce, but I still love my dog Teddy and want him to be healthy. I trust Dr. Martins judgement and she has restored my faith in your office. I will start scheduling the testing she has recommended as my financial resources improve now that I have a job again. So in closing, Thank You Dr Martin for taking the time to help me and "Teddy", and because of you Leah, I will now be a regular Simmons customer again as long as you are Teddy's doctor. I really hope this message makes it's way to Dr Simmons because he needs to know you Leah are a jewel to his practice. Thank You, Dewey Mercer

We can't say enough about the care and concern of everyone in both the Veternary Hospital and Barker Hotel. They are all #1. Bruiser has stayed several times when he can't go with mom & dad and we can always rest assured he is taken care of and spoiled just like at home. If you have never let your best friend stay here or are concerned about the care of your best buddy, make sure you check them out. We guarantee you will not be dissapointed. Thank you to everyone that took care our big spoiled English Mastiff and a special thank you and sloppy kiss to Dr. Martin. Thanks Tom, Karen & Bruiser too!

We recently moved to Florida from Arizona, and because we're going to Canada, needed to find a good place for our dog to stay. Palm Beach Animal Control recommended Simmons' Barkers Hotel. My little girl and I went for a tour, which we expected to last about 5 minutes. We were very pleased to be taken into ALL parts of not only the resort, but also the hospital! We were warmly greeted by every member of the staff, including Dr Simmons, who stopped what he was doing to say hello! We were very pleased to see that there were so many staff members looking out for the welfare of all the patients, day campers and hotel guests! Everyone we came across was so nice, and the entire facility was VERY clean, even smelled clean! All the pet guests were happy and seemed excited to be there. We decided Simmons' Hotel was the PERFECT place for our little dog, and we think Weenie is going to have a great time during her stay. We didn't even bother to check out any other boarding facilities, as we immediately fell in love with Barkers Hotel! We were told during our visit that Weenie would need some additional vaccines and tests before boarding, so we made an appointment and saw Dr Martin, who was also totally amazing! There was NO wait time at all, we were taken directly to an exam room and were quickly greeted by Dr Martin, who took time to sit on the floor with Weenie and talk to her and ask us questions about her health, etc. Then she took Weenie out of the room, to give her to the technician that would do the vaccinations, and exam for worms. They both came back and Dr Martin addressed all of our concerns about Weenie's need for dental care and other things. She also explained to us all the different issue we would encounter here in Florida, that were NOT a concern in Arizona, such as heartworms, fleas, ticks, etc. And she gave us advice on how to prevent these from becoming a problem. We've visited a total of 3 times in the past week, and loved every moment, we're very excited that these caring folks will be caring for a very important member of our family while we're away! We can not say enough nice things about everyone there and all aspects of the entire facility! Thanks to everyone there for making us so comfortable about having to leave our little one for several days! We are looking forward to always turning to Simmons Veterinary Hospital and Barkers Hotel for all of our needs. Perfect one stop shopping for pet health and boarding!

I ADOPTED MY CAT "BABY KITTY" 10 YRS AGO. HE WAS THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF A BAG FULL OF DEAD KITTENS BROUGHT TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY. MY DAUGHTER & I WAITED 3 WKS FOR HIM TO REACH ADOPTION AGE. HE HAS BEEN THE SWEETEST & TOUGHEST LITTLE RUNT OF A CAT FOR A DECADE. HE SURVIVED POISONING & SEVERAL YRS WITH FELINE LEUKEMIA. (I COULD NOT GET HIM TO STAY IN THE HOUSE). FOUND HIM ON MY PATIO VERY SICK ON SAT. I CALLED SIMMONS & JENNIFER TOLD ME TO BRING HIM IN RIGHT AWAY. YOUR STAFF KNEW AS I DID THAT BABY KITTY WAS DYING & ACTED VERY QUICKLY TO END HIS SUFFERING. I WAS TO EMOTIONAL TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE & THANKS AT THE TIME & I CERTAINLY DID NOT EXPECT THE "NO CHARGE". I JUST GOT THE CARD SENT BY WHAT LOOKS LIKE THE ENTIRE STAFF WITH A NICE NOTE FROM DR SCHER. THAT TAKES TIME & THOUGHTFULNESS. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH. YOU GUYS TRULY ARE THE BEST. SINCERELY, BOB WEBER & BABY KITTY

We have recently adopted our first dog as adults. Our first visit to Simmons was amazing. We were pleasantly surprised with the picture frame and the card our dog Nika received from Simmons. They are very detail oriented. The visit was nothing, but extraordinary, informative and caring. Also, special thanks to Dr. Yvonne Mercak for calling and checking up on Nika, since she was getting sick at the time of the visit. Dr. Mercak was very patient and made our first experience easy and pleasant.

Mozart is doing just fine. And, I am not worried about him just knowing that Simmons vets are so thorough and caring, even though Mozart and I are not here in west palm beach year-round. We really liked Dr. Sher, and she explained everything to me I needed to know and also offered advice on proactive care including vitamin supplements to strengthen Mozart's knees so he won't have problems with them when he's older. Mozart also visited the groomer while he was at Simmons, and she is the best groomer I've ever taken Mozart to. He has never looked so much like himself after a grooming session. I just hate it when he comes home from the groomer's looking like a different dog. Your groomer's a real artist. Please thank her agin for me. And thanks to Dr. Sher and all of you at Simmons. Coming to Simmons is the best vet experience in the country, if you ask me. Sincerely, Judith Cartwright & Mozart

Hi Dr. Simmons: I know we have told you before how much we think of everyone at the hospital and kennel. However, we would like to tell you how grateful we are for everyone being so nice when we brought Ki in yesterday morning with problems. Dr. Questa was wonderful as usual and everyone else we talked to was so nice and helpful. We can't tell you enough how good it makes us feel to know we have people we trust so much when we need to get medical help for Kaizer or when we need to board him. Please pass on our thanks to Dr. Questa and everyone else, and tell them how great they all are. Also, sorry we interrupted your meeting yesterday. Thanks to you too for having such a great Hospital and Kennel for those of us who love our pets. Sincerely, Wally, Jeanette & Ki P.S. Ki says "thank you Dr. Qeusta and all who took care of me and helped me feel better." Gas stinks!!!!! Love, Kaizer

I have been using Simmons for years and they do a great job. Everyone is nice and professional. They saved my Roxy's life when she was a new pup with respiratory problems. I have also used their boarding facilities and they do a great job too. I hate leaving my pets but I know they will be well taken care of and get to go out and play like at the dog park too. I LOVE the magnetic pictures they used to do without the advertising. Wish they would go back to those.

Dr. Scher is great - she is thorough, patient, answers all questions, and has excellent bedside manner. Coco was meowing (as she normally does) like crazy when we arrived and when I picked her up, she was totally relaxed. I also love your groomer, Diane - she groomed Coco exactly like I asked and she did not have that "perfumey" smell which I don't like. Coco looks and smells great! THANK YOU!

It seems like we have been spending alot of time with our favorite vet Dr. Questa and our new other favorite vet Dr. Sher. First our 3 year old maincoon Indie was in distress and both docs came to our aide and he's as good as new. ! month later our very special nearly 18 year old maincoon Romeo had to have dental surgery and putting an old guy under anesthesia is dangerous. We were put at ease with the professionalism and care that both docs showed. Romeo had to return a week later for another problem after surgery that required alot of poking and probing. He won't let me go into his mouth but sweet Dr. Questa had no problem. I think he loves her! We are so grateful for you two, you have no idea. Dr. Simmons is a lucky man to have such wonderful doctors on his staff. We wouldn't trust our furry family with anyone else! Thank you for all you do. Fondly, The Tuttolomondo Family :)

Today, March 26th, my husband and I brought Jack, our Jack Russell to his semi-annual check-up/vaccines. As usual, he was given first class treatment from the check-in, exam and discussions with Dr. Mercak. To our surprise, Jack is overweight. Who knew giving him 10+ treats a day would pack on the pounds (actually pound)!? We were assured that Jack is in great condition and that raw veggies such as carrots or beans would be a healthier choice. We're always amazed at the print out that discusses all areas of Jack's health. We wish our primary care physician would be as thorough. We know that regular check-up are so important to the well being of our dog and we couldn't have chosen a more dedicated veterinary clinic. Thanks, jane, russ and of course, Jack

My dog Whiskey got her shots and her annual exam done. The doctor and techs were very nice and professional. I had to wait extensively, but the staff apologized several times about that. They were busy and I understood. They gave me a cute picture of Whiskey imposed on the beach with a surf board that I thought was nice, which added to their good customer service and appeal.

I am new to this area and so glad that I found Simmons Veterinary Hospital and the Barkers Hotel & Grooming Service. When I first brought my dog Trevor in for grooming he was so scared I told them to muzzle him. I was afraid he would bite them. He has a problem with his back legs and is in pain. WELL to my delight, the groomer was so good with him that after his hind end was done, she was able to handle him with NO problems at all. I have also taken him in to the Vet part because I thought he had something stuck in his throat. Again, They are wonderful! It turned out Trevor has allergies and acid reflux. Once on the meds he is now fine. I am so glad I found them and so is Trevor. Everyone there seems to love animals and people so much. Thanks!

I would like to say after bringing our beagle to simmons due to an emergency last year I was amazed at how well each staff member treated me and my family. We were very distraught because we knew what needed to be done. They made the decision we had made just a little bit easier. The day after they called to see how we were doing; which was very thoughtful. Then a few days later we received a sympathy card and a print of our dogs paw; which is on our entertainment center. Then on Saturday January 15th my husband and daughter had to bring our other beagle to them. My husabnd shared with me he was amazed with the way the facility is run. He said every one was so kind and full of compasion. They explained everything in detail of what we needed to do for our beagle. Due to the fact that I was not there I had a few of my own questions so I called and left a message. I received a call back that day and Dr. Yvonne Mercak spent 15mins. reviewing tweety's condition and what needed to be done to improve her quality of life. Thank you to all the staff for all you do!!!

We were very satisfied with the doctor & staff when we came in with our sick 15 year old Siamese cat for an emergency visit yesterday late afternoon. After x-rays & discussion with the doctor & her explaining everything to us......we then knew how sick our cat was. You were very understanding & kind to us after we made the decision that it was necessary to put Hyakutake (we called him "Tockie") to sleep. Thank you again.

Everyone was so nice and helpful! I am shocked they were able to cut Rockys nails with how long they have grown! I love that they are even open on Sundays!

The staff at Simmons Vet Hospital and the Barkers Hotel are professional with the owners and great with the dogs. Our dog Sunshine loves to spend a day or a week at the Barkers, and we know that she is getting the best care.

Simmon's Veterinary Center took very good care of my mom's cat whom was very sick when she adopted her from Belvedere Animal Shelter/Control. I recently adopted a cat from Belevedere Animal Shelter/Control and the cat came with a free health exam certificate with her adoption. Since Simmon's Veterinary Center took such good care of my mom's cat, I chose to take my newly adopted cat to Simmon's. They spent almost an hour giving her a complete physical. They were very gentle and caring with her. Thank god she was given a 100% Healthy results. I will definately continue to take her back to Simmon's Veterinary Center aswell, will take my other cat to Simmon's aswell. I have recommended Simmon's to my friends, and neighbors... and with this testimonial I hope you will bring your pet to Simmon's... they are very caring and thourogh!!

Dr. Simmons, This is Valarie Stafford and your surgery on Chelsea six weeks ago has gone great so far. She seems to back to her normal self. The open wound on her knee has healed up beautifully. It's almost back to perfect, except for the scar. She has been waited on hand and foot by everyone in my office, my boss carried her in the sling and showed me the best way to do that. I can't thank you enough for giving my Chelsea a second chance, she deserved that. Your technique and skills are amazing. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You and everyone at Simmons Hospital who were so good to her. I will give you that update in six months. Keeping my fingers crossed that nasty cancer stays away. It's funny, after Chelsea had her surgery she received flowers, pet toys, cards in the mail, people stopping by sitting on the floor with her (trust me, all the attention, she just ate it up). My neighbors little boy cried when he saw her leg and brought over a basket of goodies for her, he's 6. A few people said to me she's not just your dog, she's all of our dog and I guess she is. Thank You For Everything, Valarie Stafford & Chelsea-Scarlett Too!!

Hi! We just wanted to say thanks! for taking such great care of our Shih Tzu Lucy. She loves coming to Doggie Day Care on Fridays and we can tell she was spoiled rotten when she recently stayed for a week at Barkers Hotel. We do not think she wanted to come home. We have noticed a lot of positive changes since she has been coming to visit. Before she used to be shy around strangers and now she will walk up and let strangers pet her. She is also more active when we take her to the dog park. She still has her days where she would rather lounge around and watch from the sidelines. On most days though, she is in the middle of the action chasing the other dogs. Thanks again! Mary & Joe Berger

Something I think you need to know, this is what I see................... You have the most courteous, polite, helpful, friendly people in your employee. It indicates a lot about your business operation. A very nice experience. Many places an employee doesn't bother to look directly at you, and 'thank you' is a foreign language. Thank you both for all the nice things you do for me. Magi and Sugar

Thank You to Dr. Questa and staff for sweetly welcoming our newly adopted boxer Simba there at Simmons. Simba gave some body hugs and boxer kisses and felt right at home on his visits. A 3-dog family we are again. Lets get this big boy's hair grown back in so he looks even more handsome! :) - The Thompsons (owned by Mackenzie, Rocco Taco & now Simba)

We have been bringing our dogs to Simmons for well over five years. There is no other Vet we would bring them to. The care, the professionalism and the love our dogs get is like no other. Thank you to all the Doctors who have tended to our extended family!

I want to thank Dr. Simmons, Dr. Questa, Dr. Martin, Kelly and all the rest of the staff for the care that was given to Jasmine in her final days. This is hard for me to write as she was my best friend and losing her has been one of the most painful experiences in my life. The one thing that gives me peace is the kindness that was given to her. We know Jasmine was not just another dog, but that you all treated her as if she was your own.

Last night I had to bring Donny over since he had been vomiting during the day. Since he gets into everything, like last year eating a $50 bill that was left on the living room couch by accident a xray was taken to make sure nothing was there that didn't belong. Thankfully everything was fine. With some chicken and rice and your TLC he is doing much better today. It is great to have some where to go that makes "mommies" feel better. Thanks again. c.wolke

Lady and her family want to thank Dr. Questa and the rest of the staff for all of the wonderful care and loving she receives every time she visits. No matter how many times I call or how insignificant my concerns may be, Dr. Questa always makes me feel as though Lady is the only patient she has. She is caring and compassionate as well as thorough and professional. Though it's been a rough couple of years in many ways, Dr. Questa is always there with an encouraging word. We know that Lady is in the best of care when we need to leave her for tests or any other reason. The most amazing part is even after all she has been through, she goes crazy every time I am bringing her in for an appointment. She gets so excited I can hardly contain her. Although Lady's prognosis was not a good one, here we are over two years later and she is still bouncing around happy and playful without a care in the world. I wish I could find 'people' doctors half as caring and compassionate! Thank you Dr. Questa and everyone else at Simmons' for taking care of our baby! ! ! You are totally awesome and we are forever thankful ! !

I just wanted to take a few minutes and thank Dr. Simmons and Dr. Schear thank you so much for the wonderful and loving care that you took with Corey. I apologize if I misspelled either name. I have taken my dogs to Dr. Baker for over ten years. I wished I would have switch a long time ago. Everyone there is professional and caring and thank you for making a difference. When I came in with Corey he had a mass inside his mouth and of course I was concerned and worried. The entire staff made me feel a little at ease. When we picked Corey up Dr. Schear showed us pictures and explained everything they did and answered all of our questions. I will recommend your establishment to all of my friends . Once again thank you so much.

Buddy Loves Simmons! Every time we go to a scheduled appointment and tell Buddy, he gets very excited and goes to the door like he is ready to leave that very moment! He runs up to the door at Simmons and goes in like he is some sort of celebrity, and of course, the girls greet him like he is one! Thanks to everyone there for making it a fun experience for him, in particular Dr. Raymond and your tech, Greg, who seems to be able to relate to Buddy, and make him feel at ease no matter what is being done to him! Keep up the Good Work! Greg Petry, Greenacres

I have always found that all of the hospital staff are friendly, caring and professional. My experience with other veterinary hospitals was not as good. They were more like factories that had to produce a quota for the day and as a result I always felt that my time was limited and was rushed out to make room for the next. The clinic and boarding facilites are always clean. I had my own boarding kennel for 19 years and challenge anyone to find a cleaner of more modern facility. As far as I am concerned I would never take my pets elsewhere. Philip Sorkin Boynton Beach

Thank you for your email. I want to take this opportunity to compliment Dr. Martin and her thorough and compassionate quality of life assessment of my 15+ year-old dog, Jack. I genuinely thought I was at the end of the road with him, but he is now doing better, with the additional medications she prescribed. Dr. Martin was so caring and sensitive, and I am very greatful for the additional time that my children and I now have with my very best friend, Jack. Please convey this to her, if you would. Thank you. Paula Levy

Dear Dr. Questa, Dr. Ken and caring Simmons staff, I have received your kind, thoughtful expression of condolence and her paw mold memory of the passing of my dear Shih Tzu, Peaches. Because of crockadial tears and breaking up, I am not able to call you, so I am writing in heartfelt appreciation. During this grieving process, I found of great comfort, a writing entitled: My Last Battle, A poem from your loving Shih Tzu. It is on the Internet. I am attaching a copy for your files if you would like, to pass it on to comfort someone else. Best wishes, Joan Duffin

Dr Aberwald is a wonderful Dr - listens and communicates with you with true concern for your pet

Post #46 - Posted on: Thursday. August 12, 2010

We were acknowledged immediately; made to feel comfortable every step of the appointment. Vet tech was very informative, listened well, made us and dog very comfortable w/her knowledge and communication. Both Dr. Raymond and Vet Tech were very loving and gentle w/Bo. I think Bo enjoyed his first visit. Everyone at this hospital are all very knowledgeable in their own area of expertise. The "patients" are all treated here in such a way that they are the only one that matters at that given moment - they are the King/Queen of the hour. Thank you for the best example of "Top Quality Service".

My visit on Sun 8/9 was to pick up non-prescription medication only ...I didn't know until I walked in that Vanessa was back...she recognized me immediately...and that's one of the things I love about Simmons Veterinary...we had a few minutes for friendly conversation...and of course she was through and caring...from getting me checked out to getting Katie a treat!!! My wife, Goofy and I moved to Florida in June of 2005. We were so grateful we found Simmons Veterinary Hospital for Goofy`s needs. Goofy was very special and different (in the range of 126 lbs and grouchy). It was our fault because being our only little one, we spoiled him all the time. When we needed to go out of town, we had a piece of mind that he stayed in such great hands. The staff at the hospital was no different always attentive and caring to Goofy. Yesterday was one of the most difficult times parents endure in life. Goofy let us know this past week that it was time to go to play with other dogs where no fighting is allowed and all dogs of all sizes, cats and other creatures live together, happy and forever. So the three of us discussed the situation and decided to go to his friends at Simon Veterinarian Hospital to proceed with this task. Goofy gave us 12 years, one month and 12 days of joy and great companionship. The staff at the hospital was so caring and helpful. They could not have done it any better. Everyone made this excruciating pain a little easier for the three of us. Even though this was a normal procedure for them, everyone made us feel like it was the first and only one. Please keep up with the great work you all are doing. Some human beings might not appreciate what you do but the ones you care for will always and deeply appreciate. Thank you all one more time.

Again another note of thanks for seeing Willie so quickly yesterday with his ear problem. Your staff did an excellent job as usual on such short notice. Of course he still isn't a happy kitty but I'm sure he will be soon when his med's kick in. Thanks again, Donna Van Blarcom

Just a note to say thanks to everyone on staff. I called on Thurs. morning 6/10 about my little dog Rocky who was limping and seemed to be in alot of distress. They had me come in to be seen and an appointment was set for the following morning for xrays etc. While the xrays were being taken they also cleaned his teeth for me. Thank goodness there was nothing very serious with his leg, he does have a bright "smile" now and everyone was very kind and patient with him. Procedures are very well explained also. Thanks again, Donna Van Blarcom

I'd just like to say thanks, to all the staff at the hospital for the great service that Clifford received on Sunday May 23 2010. I called the hospital at 12.45 am, when he was in distress. The night tech was very helpful and concerned with the problem. Clifford was seen first thing on Sunday morning. He's been doing great since he came home that evening! I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else! Simmons Veterinary Hospital is my Vet of choice for my two dogs! Thank you so much!! Steph, Clifford, and Amy.

My husband and I were pleased with the excellent that Queen of Sheba and Hercules received at the Purrington Inn while we were on vacation. It is comforting to be able to leave them in capable hands and not worry if they are being taken care of. Sometimes when others "watch" your pet for you, you know upon your return that things were not handled in the manner you desired. Thanks again. Our pets appeared well fed and their grooming was above reproach. They looked and smelled wonderful Sharon and George Siler

Just a note to thank everyone for taking care of my Buster. Buster is very shy and has a hard time with other dogs...Everyone seems to understand him and gives him the extra love he needs. He no longer shakes when we pull up and I am sure I saw him smile the last time we came to Barkers Inn. Linda Gottlieb and Buster Brown

My husband and I have two greyhounds: Chevy and Cheerio. Chevy has serious allergy problems and gastro problelms, too. Cheerio is our healthy one. They both have been patients at Simmons for several years and ALWAYS receive excellent care. Cheerio had surgery recently and received great care and a color-coordinated wrap, as well. We generally see Dr. Questa, who is the best, but, we have seen the other vets and been treated with professionalism, concern and kindness. The vets at Simmons know their medicine, but that is only one of the components I look for when looking for someone to treat my pets. I want it all, and I find that at Simmons. I have said it on many occasions: I wish the vets at Simmons could treat me. Chevy and Cheerio have also stayed at the Barkers and had a wonderful time. Thank you all so much for everything that you do for my greybabies and me, too. Paula Vick

Your patient Bijou, thanks you for you patience. One of her previous sitters couldn't believe it was Bijou when she saw her yesterday. She has come soooo far... She use to be very afraid of people. As you know, today, she seeks attention for any free hand she can find, almost.

Frequent flyer here is glad you offer hurricane insurance...Could you imagine being out of town and not being able to get your dog out! It's conforting to know Bijou would be taken care of if, once again, a hurricane hit while I was out of town. Your patients with her is greatly appreciated.

We dropped Bullet off for a week visit as well as to get his yearly checkup/ shots. He came back smelling really good... better than he has in the past. Not sure if it was a new/different shampoo that was being used but the scent lasted longer than it has in the past. We are always extremely happy with the results we get from Simmon's and their staff :)

I am so very happy I switched to your Hospital! My dogs have received excellent care and your staff is unbelievably friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Such a big difference from my previous vet! My older Pom, Curry, recently had to undergo some minor surgery, and the professionalism taken with his care was exceptional. I recommend you to everyone I know with a pet. Even though I have to drive down from Palm Beach Gardens, it's well worth the time and drive to have such excellent care given to my "boys"! Keep up the excellent work - you all are TERRIFIC!

Finally... a vet clinic that feels like "home". Never have I ever felt more welcomed by the staff that greets you as you walk in the door to a clinic you've never been to before. Instantly I felt relaxed and like myself and the well being of my Italian Greyhound were important to them. I should also include ALL staff that interacts with you and your dog once you are assigned an exam room treated you and your pet with respect and the utmost kindness. I've never seen so many smiles and optimistic attitudes. My god, that was astounding! Dr. Leah Martin was our vet, and she was incredibly kind, compassionate and highly knowledgeable. I felt so thankful that Pet Supermarket suggested I go to Simmons Vet Clinic for the best care I could ever want for my dog. To all the staff at Simmons Vet Clinic.. I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart and also "Fin's". Your professionalism and courtesy shown us would WIN THE GOLD if you were entered in the Olympics! Kind regards, Tatianna (Shawna) Risley and FIN

My dog just had a bath and she came out looking absolutely beautiful and smelling sweet. I also know that she got a great deal of love just by to way she came to me when she was picked up. I know that she was very happy being there.

once again, you get what you pay for, and compared to the quality of service I think it is a bargain. Where I work we stress customer service and that it sells itself. My boss used to have a plaque with a saying on it "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." I remember the quality of service and I am very happy with Simmons veteranary hospital. I still remember the day I brought our little puppy there at 6 weeks old. Dr. Simmons got on the floor and played with him and looked him over at the same time. I knew that he had a love for the animals and that he expects the same from his people.

We started taking Dempsey to Barker's daycare when my husband was going through chemo. It was such a wonderful experience that after recovery we kept Dempsey at daycare one day a week. The doberman breed has the reputaton of being "big bad" and the daycare has shown that not all doberman's are. Dempsey learned socialization skills not only with other dogs; but other people. Anyone who meets Dempsey falls in love with his gentle - sweet nature.
