Dr Simmons was born in Lake Worth and is a graduate of the University of Florida where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. He established Simmons Veterinary Hospital in 1982 and the Professional Pet Center Complex in 1988. In 2002, he created the Barkers Hotel,the Purrington Inn and the Bark Park playgrounds. In 2007, the Barkers Hotel underwent extensive renovations to include luxurious accommodations such as the Barkmore Villas, Fur Seasons Penthouses and Woof Avenue Suites. |
