Rooter -Our Clients (and in some cases their Owners)
Rooter

Rooter my ferret was diagnosed 3 years ago with adrenal disease after loosing all of his hair. The vet that took care of him told me that if I could love a bald ferret Rooter would live out his normal life. One day rooter was unable to urinate, he was in a great deal of pain and was suffering. I took him to an emergency clinic where they catheterized him and kept him alive for the weekend. They told me that I needed to find a vet that deals with exotic animals and that Rooter had serious problems that that they were not equipt to handle. I called Simmons Veterinary Clinic on a Sunday and explained my situation. They told me to bring Rooter in first thing Monday morning. When I brought Rooter to Simmons Veterinary Hospital Rooter was about gone. Dr. Friend said that surgery to remove the adrenal gland would be necessary to save his life. Dr. Friend, Dr. Simmons and the staff moved quickly. The next thing I knew Rooter was out of surgery and stabalized. Thanks to the Dr. Friend and all the staff at Simmons my ferret is a healthy, happy ferret who has all of his hair back. Simmons Veterinary Hospital is the BEST!
